The Mighty Towers

And there they were... The mighty towers of Lower Manhattan standing as proud testimony to capitalist triumphs. Somehow, on a spring morning, with the cold winds gushing on your face and the sun shining bright and clear, even skyscrapers look almost idyllic...

Doesn't it look a bit like Mumbai when one approaches the city on a ferry from Elephanta caves (minus the glorious Gateway of India and the Taj, of course!)

And the second pic....the next time u go from Churchgate to Marine Drive at around 6 pm, u might just get nostalgic about NY :)

Boy Oh boy, doesn't it! You just nailed it for me... It was EXACTLY what I was thinking as I took the snap :D For a moment, felt all wistful about catching up on tea at Tea Center and walking down to Marine Drive with friends...

Well, I'm not anyone you know. Just happened to come across your blog while browsing. Was curious to see that Atticus Finch was from Tamilnadu - I too come from there. LOL
